A full investigation has been opened into the fatal shooting of a 61-year-old bar owner in Porto Cristo early yesterday morning.

Palma.—According to the National Police who are in charge of the investigation, the crime was carried out between 7.30am and 9am yesterday morning.
The body of the bar owner, identified as Angel Abad Torres, was found by the cleaning lady when she turned up for work as usual at Bar/Restaurant Gorli.
The case was immediately handed over to the National Police Homicide Squad and forensics who cordoned off the area as they began their investigation.

Shot twice
It is understood that the 61-year-old was shot twice with a pistol, once in the chest and once in the neck, but the results of the autopsy are going to prove crucial into solving this crime  - although the police are not ruling out foul play.
