The Guardia Civil has opened a full investigation as has the central government delegate to the Balearics after tragic death of a holiday maker.

Palma.—The accident, as the autopsy concluded yesterday, happened at 10pm on Monday night and it took Guardia Civil GEAS divers just 30 minutes to recover the body.
The party boat, which was carrying between 50 and 60 revellers, was just off Cala Tarida in the municipality of Sant Josep when the Pole, resident in the UK, jumped off the catamaran. Only two weeks ago, the central government delegate to the Balearics, Teresa Palmer, called police chiefs together to discuss ways of cracking down and regulating party boats and yesterday she said that in the wake of this tragic death, immediate and tough action is going to be taken.
