TOURISTS and residents alike will soon be able to learn more about the late great artist Joan Miro, who painted some of his finest works on the island.
Local councils and the Soller train service launched a special Miro tour yesterday priced at 30 euros.

It consists of:
Entrance to the Joan Miro Foundation in Palma.
Entrance to the Es Baluard Museum in Palma.
Train journey from Palma to Soller and then to the port.
Entrance to the Can Prunera Contemporary Art centre in Soller.

The Mayor of Palma, Mateo Isern said that the new tour would give local residents and visiting tourists an insight into Joan Miro and unite Palma and Soller through the work of this great artist. Tickets for the tour are on sale at each of the different venues.
