Palma.—Majorcan municipality Santa Maria del Cami is the latest area on the island to declare itself “anti bullfights”.
The local council approved the motion at a meeting yesterday with seven votes in favour and five abstentions.
Guillermo Amengual, coordinator of the campaign “Mallorca Sense Sang” (Majorca without blood) welcomed the decision yesterday saying that Majorca “is now one step closer from being pro-life and against torture of bullfights in the arenas.”
