Palma’s “noise map” will be revised and ready by 2015.
The council agreed yesterday to analyse the level of noise derived from car and bus traffic in different areas of the city and see what changes can be done to reduce noise levels.
The new map will offer citizens the opportunity to know what is the noise levels they experience depending on what floor they live in. The revision of the noise map will cost the council 30,250 euros.
