TWO men armed with a replica pistol and wearing motorbike crash helmets held-up a branch of the Sa Nostra bank in Palma´s Paseo de Mallorca yesterday and escaped with 1,500 euros in cash.
The raid happened mid-morning yesterday when two men arrived on a motorbike and entered the bank. After firing three shots into the air they forced bank staff and customers to lie on the floor head down. They then proceeded to help themselves to 1,500 euros at the cashier´s desk.
The two later escape on the motorbike and last night a major man-hunt was underway.
