Palma.—The Guardia Civil yesterday reported that on 27 October a 29-year-old Brazilian arriving from central Europe at Son San Joan airport was caught in the possession of two rum bottles full of cocaine.
The bottles were found hidden in his suitcase but looked suspicious and once the liquid inside had been tested, it was confirmed as rum laced with cocaine.
The arrest came just five days after three young passengers on a flight from the mainland were caught with a total of 354 “hashish dates” between them in their bodies weighing a total of 2,095 grammes.
