The majority of Balearic citizens will spend their Christmas holiday on the island. A report revealed yesterday showed that almost 40 percent of Spanish nationals all over the country is planning to travel over the holiday season, mainly those from Madrid, Catalonia and Andalusia.
But those from the Basque Country, Murcia and the Balearics have no such ideas.
While over a third of those who took part in the study blamed it on their lack of funds to travel, over half said that even if they could do so they prefer to enjoy Christmas in family at home.
