Palma.—It may not feel like in now, but only a few weeks ago, we were all enjoying an extended summer.
Yesterday, the met. office confirmed that last month, was the third warmest November for a century and  the wettest for the past 17 years.
During the first two weeks of November, temperatures were as expected but, it was during the final half of the month that they suddenly rose again.

Record
On average, maximum temperatures in the Balearics were 2ºC higher than usual although, on 15 November, a new November record was set in Minorca when the temperature reached 17.3ºC, the previous November high was 17.1ºC.
