Manacor council and all the local political parties have agreed unanimously that the Balearic government must include a series of reforms in the municipality in next year’s budget.

Palma.—In total, there are 10 specific areas the council feels the government has ignored the municipality when discussing their previous annual budgets, but that  must now be addressed.  The construction of a new medical centre, refurbishment and expansion of the local hospital, the “urgent” refurbishment  of the Porto Cristo warehouses, provide a budget so the first phase of construction of the new Son Macia school can get under way, the draft of a new plan for a new school  in Porto Cristo, the cleaning of the local drainage canals, improving the  electricity network  and general condition of the railway leading to the municipality, the beginning of the construction of a new bus station and the refurbishment of  local industrial water treatment plants, which will cost around 200,000 euros, are just some of the important project Manacor council has on the table.
