Palma.—Little immediate change in  the weather is being forecast here in the Balearics and across much of Spain with the dry and sunny weather forecast to continue until at least the weekend.
The only areas which could see some snow on Christmas Day are going to be in the north of the country in Cantabria and the Pyrenees.

Fog
But here in the Balearics, this mild and sunny period is forecast to continue.
Spokesperson for the State Meteorological Agency, Ana Casals, said yesterday that day time temperatures are going to continue higher than usual as Spain continues to be in the grip of an anticyclone.
The only problem over the next few days in more central parts is going to be early morning fog, but that will lift, although it may lead to some flights delays, so if you are catching connecting flights on the mainland, check with your airline. However, here in the Balearics, the weather is going to stay fine, although over night temperatures are going to begin dropping towards freezing, mainly due to the lack of cloud cover during the day and the unusually high day time temperatures.

Change
However, things could change dramatically on Sunday.
