Palma.—The CCOOgeneral workers’ commission and the UGT general workers’ union said yesterday that industrial action is going to go ahead as planned after talks broke down yesterday.
The industrial action is going to hit urban bus services across the Balearics, such as the EMT municipal bus company in Palma.
20 days of protest action has been planned and will be spread across the next three months.
Federation of Transport Companies wants to draw up new contracts which will involve a three year pay freeze in order to avoid laying off some 300 employees.
