Majorca is going to host the JSF Travel & Tourism School, an international Business School specialised in postgraduate and managerial training (executive education). The school will open its doors in September 2016 with the goal of becoming an international benchmark within the industry, both from an academic perspective and in terms of research and innovation.
The Junipero Serra Foundation, which is behind the project, has announced the creation of the JSF Travel & Tourism School, making the most of the opportunity and support provided by the World Travel & Tourism Council (WTTC) to present the project at the next meeting of the World Summit of the World Travel & Tourism Council, which will be held in Madrid in 15 and 16 April.
According to the foundation, the Business School has the active support of more than 25 large international corporations in Europe, Asia and America, including Hotelbeds Group, Grupo Barcelo, Iberostar Hotels & Resorts and Riu Hotels & Resorts, as founding sponsors.
The sponsorship of these companies, which operate in sectors such as distribution, accommodation, transport, technology and tourism services, allows the centre to be positioned as one of the best business schools in the world in its sector, where private initiative, through commitment to corporate and social responsibility, has been a determining factor in consolidating the project.
The JSF Travel & Tourism School also has the support of international organisations such as the World Travel & Tourism Council, the World Tourism Organisation and Universia.
