 The Balearic tourist industry is expecting to boost its sales by five percent this year and witness a 10 percent  rise in turnover while 61 percent have increased the amount invested in their businesses over the winter, according to the latest market report “Expectations 2015” by Deloitte which canvasses some 100 leading companies.
According to the results, 78 percent, 78 percent of those questioned are confident that the market will continue recuperating this year, in particular urban and city tourism, while 72 percent of resorts businesses are also expecting to experience an upturn in trade.
Last year, 54 percent of tourist business posted an increase in activity and profits of between five and ten percent in comparison to 2013.
