Get set for a long and warm summer, according to the Palma Met Office which announced yesterday that this summer would be slightly warmer than last year. According to the Palma Met Office the Balearics will be hotter than the mainland. This week the temperatures are expected to rise on the island as the summer season gets into full swing. “It will certainly be beach weather in the Balearics,” said a spokesperson for the Palma Met Office yesterday.
