The annual flu vaccination campaign starts on Wednesday (28 October) and will run until 11 December. Flu jabs are available at all the health centres across Majorca, and the IB-Salut health service will be distributing 142,500 doses, 137,500 of which will be for people over the age of 65, those with chronic illnesses, health workers and other workers in essential services; these include, for the first time, nursery school staff. The remaining 5,000 doses are for the elderly in residential care.
