President Armengol has said that she is very proud of efforts made by her government and of having managed change that had been demanded and of having restored "normality".

She made her remarks at the traditional drinks the government has with the media in order to wish them all the best for the season and to thank them for their work during the year. She took the opportunity to highlight the "excellent work" by the press.

An important change in the media has been the appointment, for the first time, of a journalist at the head of the IB3 public broadcaster. This was an example, the president suggested, of the normality that the government has been pursuing and of "good political action" that has been in place. Accepting that some errors might have been made, the normality that had been asked for is being granted.

She stressed that work remains to be done and her hope is to continue working towards the consolidation of change. She apologised if, on occasion, "we have not lived up to expectations".

Meanwhile, Vice-President Barceló highlighted all the work that has been undertaken this year and that awaits in the new year. Looking ahead to 2016, he alluded to the latest Star Wars film (he is a Star Wars "geek", he admitted), observing that "the force awakens" and proclaiming that "the force be with us".
