Tomorrow evening is one of the most anticipated in the Majorcan calendar. It is the evening when the Three Kings arrive in towns and villages and children can barely contain their excitement and anticipation.

The parades of the Kings and their entourages vary from the grand to the rather modest. The grandest of all is Palma's which will start at 6pm when the Kings arrive at the old pier. In other coastal parts of the island, the Kings typically arrive there by sea as well, and then horses, floats, carriages and showers of sweets are features of the parades which also take their time to stop and perform the adoration of the baby Jesus.

The weather looks as though it should be dry and mild but possibly windy in some parts of the island. There is some concern regarding coastal conditions, for which a yellow alert is out for much of Majorca tomorrow.

Here is a listing of the parades, and note there are some on 6 January as well. As always with this information, it relies on being readily available. If places are missed off, this doesn't mean there aren't parades; just that we have been unable to verify them.
