German tourist in Playa de Palma arrested on sex charge

A German female, a year younger, called the 061 health services emergency number after the man forced her to have sex. They had met at a club in Playa de Palma on Saturday. They were both drunk. She accompanied him to his hotel room but refused to have sex when he demanded it. Some time later, she left the room and made the call to 061. The service attended to her, and she shortly afterwards gave a report to police.

The man was detained on Sunday morning. He told police that there had been consent to have sex.

It seems that the man had come to Majorca with a friend who was thrown out of the hotel for walking naked along corridors and knocking on the doors of other guests.
