The fourth airport to tourist resorts bus service started operating yesterday. The Aerotib route from the airport to Cala d'Or also serves Arenal, Llucmajor, Campos, S'Alqueria Blanca, Santanyi and Portopetro. In Llucmajor, the bus stops in the Son Noguera industrial estate, so it offers a transport option for workers there.

The service runs ten times a day in both directions. The first bus leaves Cala d'Or at 5.30am and the last one at 7.30pm. From the airport, the first bus goes at 8.30am and the final one at 9.45pm. The price of a ticket is between five and nine euros, depending on the destination. Regular users can get the normal discounts by using their intermodal cards.

This is the last of the four resorts services to come into operation. Those to Magalluf-Paguera and the bay of Alcudia started on 3 May, and the one for Cala Millor/Cala Bona has been running since 1 June. Full information regarding the four Aerotib routes and other public transport services in Majorca is available at www.tib.org, the website of the Majorca Transport Consortium.
