According to a website which specialises in making claims on behalf of consumers against the likes of airlines and banks, Palma's Son Sant Joan Airport had the third highest number of "incidents" between June and August last year.

These incidents mainly refer to delays; 2,779 passengers wanted claims to be made. There were 70 claims related to baggage - damage, loss or delay in it being found.

The website, Reclamador, reports that most claims were made for Barcelona-El Prat - 12,761. Ibiza Airport with 2,040 claims was fourth, and Minorca was eighth with 921.
