Two people needed treatment for smoke inhalation after a fire that started in the kitchen of a third-floor apartment in Palma spread to the fourth floor.

The fire was declared at quarter to eight on Sunday morning at an apartment building on C. Polvori. The cause is as yet unknown.

Three apartments were affected by fire, the one in which it started having been gutted. Other apartments suffered minor damage because of smoke, water and broken glass.
