Freight carriers in the Balearics have given a period of ten days to find a solution to the situation affecting the sector as a result of the war in Ukraine and the rise in prices. If a satisfactory agreement is not reached, they will initiate a strike ten days from now - March 28 has in fact been stated.

Maybe the Hauliers should all drive to Moscow and tell Putin to stop the war, rather than holding the people of Mallorca to ransom.
I don't know if it's because English isn't my first language or because I don't know which the different parties in the article are, but I really don't understand who will go on strike, why they will go on strike and what they think they will achieve. It seems to be related to the fuel prices and general increases in costs. The prices have gone up largely because Russia has invaded Ukraine. But I don't think Putin will withdraw from Ukraine because people in Mallorca do not get their goods due to strike by the transporters. Who do these people think they will influence to do what? Should the tax payers pay their bills? I would also like the tax payers to pay my bills, but I don't think it's a great idea.
