The very fast speeds that these Electric Scooters are ridden at is very frightening. They speed amongst Tourists. Missing people by inches. They are very dangerous vehicles ridden by idiots with no licence to operate them. With no protections or protective clothing and helmets. When are they going to be banned!!!. How many serious injuries will it take to stop their use?
There’s a surprise! Considering how alarmingly cavalier most Spaniards are when on the road in any type of vehicle, it’s amazing so few are actually killed! Spanish Roundabouts with their crazy rules, contrary to almost all of the rest of Europe, presents a major safety challenge too.
