The National Police report having arrested a 24-year-old German tourist who attacked two passers-by in Playa de Palma earlier this week.

Around 11pm on Wednesday, the tourist, who was drunk, entered a hotel but was thrown out because he wasn't a guest. On the street, he started to muck around with some scooters. A passer-by who told him to stop was pushed over. He banged his head and was subsequently taken to hospital where he required stitches.

The tourist, meanwhile, had gone into a supermarket. He was again thrown out. Back on the street, someone else told him to behave; he was punched in the face. Next stop was another hotel, where he intended to have some more to drink. However, the police turned up and arrested him.
