This is the appeal by the Council of Mallorca's councillor for tourism, José Marcial Rodríguez, for more precise information regarding illegal holiday lets.
Over recent months, he says, the tourism inspectorate has been contacted more than 3,000 times. While some reports contain detailed information, including photos, not all do.
The Council, as was the case with the Balearic government tourism ministry before it transferred responsibility, invites the public to report suspected cases of illegal letting (inspeccioturisme@conselldemallorca.net).
There are now 30 inspectors. They devote 80% of their time to pursuing illegal lets. There are also more people involved in processing cases, which will cut the time it takes in issuing fines.

How long time will it take them to investigate the first 3000!
Or don’t be a grass and get on with your own life🤷🏻
Stephen NivenBloody commie forners.
The danger of (anonymous) informants is it invites score settling, even of there is no wrongdoing, just like in STASI or KGB times.
This a a joke. I did that. They asked for " booking website link" to be sure that it is used for that. I said why don't you just come and have look at all tourists here. No answer after that. Tourists keep on coming.
