Illegal street sellers offering Nazi-symbol shirts in Mallorca
Bars are refusing entrance to anyone wearing these shirts
Over a year ago, Adidas blocked personalisation of German football team shirts with the number 44 following controversy caused by the design of the number; it bore a resemblance to an SS Nazi symbol - the lightning-bolts symbol.

CompoI don’t think anybody agrees that wearing an SS.symbol on your back is a good thing. The same of course could be said about wearing a T shirt with the Che’s face on it or a hammer and sickle. You must know that the Communists eliminated far more human beings than the Nasty’s could even dream about. No, my question was about your aversion to “extreme” far right parties as if we were back in the 1930’s and what don’t you like about their policies, or do only left wing parties have “good” policies ? Referring to the Republican Party as ERW is a bit exaggerated don’t you think ? The Democratic Socialist Party is far more extreme, as New Yorkers will shortly find out. By the way, have you checked out the left wingers making the Musk gesture yet, or can’t you be bothered ?
Richard PearsonFar from it but I gave Charles C-D an off ramp that he chose not to take. Anyone who thinks it’s OK to wear an SS symbol on their back (or will defend someone’s right to do so) is not someone I wish to engage with. Sometimes it’s better to walk away than give such a person any more ‘oxygen’.
Compo ? Are you another left winger who is incapable of backing up their claims with a solid argument.?
CompoPlease explain, if you can, about what you mean by “extreme right wing” and what policies they are proposing to the electorate. Re Musk and his salute, there are literally dozens of photos (google it) of people and politicians, many from the left side of politics, making the same gesture. Are they all nazis and fascists ? I doubt it.
Charles Dalrymple-ChumleyI dont agree. At a time when extreme right wing politics is taking hold across Europe and the USA this is not 'something about nothing' unless, of course, you are of this mindset. Musk's Nazi salute was not 'supposed' it was a Nazi salute. Only someone with Nazi sympathies would buy the shirt in the picture. There are 98 other two digit options and if you still want still want number 44 then choose a font that doesn't look exactly like an SS symbol. I get and largely agree with your evident frustration and disdain of various snowflake/woke reactions and the determination of certain sections of society to be offended by just about anything. But with respect, I really think you've got this one wrong.
This is the same as Elon Musk being criticised for a supposed Nazi-style salute. It's something about nothing. People seeing things where things don't exist. But banning the street sellers - now that's an idea with merit.
In a country where standards of many things are so low... and policing is minimal for most things, nothing will change... it's been going on for years. They should all be rounded up with those that are legal residents punished severely and all illegals deported... end of.
Kayne West was welcomed with open arms so why not!
