Sadly the people not coming may well be the higher contributors, not the bucket and spade brigade, the latter who neither know nor care about island issues. But maybe that works - all the crap resorts are full and the local towns less so?
Bergundy Blue, calm down dear. Yes they are mixing up the name in the article which is bad form, but the English have traditionally called it Majorca (as in Isla Major). I don't like it, it is Mallorca to me but each to their own. I would suggest a visit the the Doctors for you Bergundy, you might need some blood pressure tablets.

Loyalty to their holiday in the sun shines through as they ignore the wishes of the island residents to reduce tourism to more sustainable levels. Of course one has to understand that as England fills up with more and more migrants the Brits feel more at home in the English pubs of Magaluf than they do in the boarded up suburbs of their home town where the only thing open is a kebab shop and a Turkish barber.
