The Majorca Daily Bulletin golf tournament at the Andratx course in Camp de Mar on 7 November is getting into full swing and we are pleased to welcome two keynote sponsors in the form of First Mallorca (www.firstmallorca.com), the leading real estate company on the island, and HolaBank part of the CaixaBank group (www.portal.lacaixa.es/holabank/particulares).

First Mallorca has been a long-time supporter of the Bulletin and it is fantastic news that they have agreed to be one of the principal sponsors of our First Golf Cup. We are particularly pleased to welcome HolaBank as well. CaixaBank has recently launched HolaBank aimed exclusively at the foreign market with important benefits for residents and non-residents.

And of course we have our friends at Blevins Franks, the international wealth management company, and we are particularly pleased that they have supported us, as usual, in this new golfing venture. The Magalluf Wavehouse is part of the new-look resort, and we hope that their involvement in our golf tournament will be as successful as their fantastic attraction in Magalluf.

Thankfully, this newspaper has some great friends and they have all given their backing to the golf tournament which will be a regular event. Our thanks to Laura Ashley, Can Eduardo (the beautiful Palma restaurant), Macia Batle, Expo Mobles, Barcos Azules, Currencies Direct, El Corte Ingles, Sandro, St. James´s Place Wealth Management, Bellapart Solicitors, Tristan, Catering Marc Fosh, Campino Restaurant and of course Golf de Andratx.

We have some important developments in the tournament which should make it even more successful. On the Friday, all participants and their families will be able to compete in a putting competition supported by St. James Place's with some fantastic prizes. Also, Golf de Andratx has said that if any competing players would like to have a practice round on the Friday they can do so at a discount rate. The 18-hole golf tournament includes breakfast at the Campino Restaurant, 9th hole buffet courtesy of Marc Fosh Catering, a buffet dinner and prize-giving ceremony, tombola and lots more. And finally ... a hole in one competition with a star prize of a brand new Opel car and much more. The whole day costs 135 euros and there are still some places left but hurry!
