Happy Monday and welcome to a new week.
Today Mallorca is on a yellow alert for heavy rain and thunderstorms until 2pm to 6pm for the north, northeast and east - a warning of up to 20 litres per square metre of rain in an hour, which is standard for a yellow alert. There is a high probability of rain elsewhere, the met agency saying that this will be light and quite possibly muddy rain.
For Tuesday, the forecast varies - a fairly high risk of some rain (only light) in central and eastern areas; minimal elsewhere.
