Richard PearsonDepends. Everyone has ‘wants’ a holiday that suits their budget. The party animals will party some where. Then , dance and drink and .. as folk do.. Best controlled with quality party’s than spilling onto residential areas.

Richard PearsonBack in the 80s early 90s we used to stay at Forte Calavinas , then a quiet place, up the hill and round the corner from Magaluf. Being young and after some night life we used to walk into Magaluf. To find it was a family resort with a great beech , nice bars music a bit loud but turned down at 10.30 . Palma nova , was the U.K. presses bad boy at that time and general wild place of their own imagination, . Actually no more lively than a U.K. city centre. The youff party market that the authorities are trying to control around the Balearics, was promoted and developed by its own marketing, remember Club 18 30.. The demand is there, it’s peoples holidays and to quote ‘Jarvis ‘ words it’s what common people do.

Jules O99% of the posters have never been to Magaluf, let alone stayed or stopped there. A few years ago at a social gathering I struck up conversation with a youngish female German solicitor who practices here. Magaluf came up in said conversation. She told me how terrible and awful it was and to never go near the place, thinking I was in Mallorca on holiday. I asked her how she happened to go there in the first place since she seemed to have intimate knowledge of same. I’ve never been there and don’t want to either was her reply, which coming from a lawyer doesn't bode well for the profession, or her clients.

You all need to chill out. First off, there's no indication of whether there's any truth to this, or just more wishful thinking (it is the MDB after all). Next, Magaluf is hardly a "cesspit", it's just having "growing pains" as it rids itself of the bottom feeders. Magaluf has great potential, which is why there's been so much invested in it. If there's any truth to this article, it seems it's beginning to bear fruit. And I doubt the British drunken party animals are going anywhere but anyplace else that has cheap liquor, nightclubs and Burger King. And that limits their choices in Mallorca.

Law of unintended consequences. And proof that someone will exploit a profit from others misfortune.

Hopefully the drunks decide to go elsewhere next holiday. We really don't need this shite in Mallorca. Palmanova is a great example of welcomed tourism. This is what Magaluf needs to be.

Oh no.. all the subhuman creatures will spread to other resorts now. At least they were contained in and around the s..t hole of Magaluf!!

Are we mean't to feel sorry for the businesses in this cesspit? 😂😂😂😂😂😂
