Morgan WilliamsDeflection. The European Union country national, is a citizen it’s says so on the passport. So they are not foreigners . They may not be Spanish but they’re not foreign ..
David HollandIt depends on the definition of "foreigner". For example, using the "little Englander" definition, they're >all< foreigners (naturally, excepting little englanders living here clandestinely), apparently all arriving on rubber boats in the middle of the night. Then buying up properties at premium prices, while taking our jobs and living on benefits. And that's the whole problem. Just like in England.
470 million European Union citizens aren’t foreigners. The have the same rights as Spains citizens to Work , live and settle on Majorca. Buy goods and property on Majorca. Free to use those goods and property. The trade off so Spains national can live in other European Union nations. No 🍒 picking.
“Those Mallorquins who operate one or more Airbnbs and/or sold grandpa's finca for 2.5mil aren't the ones protesting” Then please enlighten us.
Well, do they ?
Richard Pearson"And where, may I ask, do “boat people” come from ? Outer space ?" It's unclear what the meaning of that is. Perhaps it's your "little englander" dialect, but the best I can glean is something like "where else do you think all these foreigners come from? Outer Space?". In that case, I've clearly given you too much credit again.
Francois BordonadoI can assure you... Those Mallorquins who operate one or more Airbnbs and/or sold grandpa's finca for 2.5mil aren't the ones protesting.
And where, may I ask, do “boat people” come from ? Outer space ?
Richard PearsonFunny, I was saying that long ago. You were still insisting it was boat people. How things change. But one thing remained the same. Funny that.
David HollandCompletely agree. But that's a fact. And we all know how facts are. Yet, does it say that on British passports? That might explain why they're all foreigners. And we all know how foreigners are.
