Why only 7 Euros. Better with 70-150 Euros for every entry into EU and a control so that we don´t let any terrorists or criminals into the EU. Visas should be valid for 90 days only.

I believe this is a european wide 'visa' not something just for Mallorca.

The 180 day rule in the ETIAS visa applies to the whole of the EU, so once you’ve been in for 90 days you can’t go anywhere in the EU till the 180 days are up! The price is insignificant, thought will have to given when to trigger (first visit) the start of the 180 days

Will this apply to the rest of Europe as well or is Mallorca being singled out (again)?

After many years of visiting Majorca (since 1972) I have refused to return since the implication of the Tourist Tax. This won't help either. I am now a regular visitor to mainland Spain where prices are far more reasonable, and still have plenty of choice of Hotels, bars,restaurents and shops. Why would I want to come to an Island that makes it pretty clear that it doesn't want tourists.
