All governments are helping businesses to survive. The Spanish one isn’t.

If only the people making the decisions for us had to suffer the same consequences. My income has just been reduced to zero overnight. I have a family and bills like all of us.

1500 people, with a lack of social distancing (according to the repoty and the photo). Act responsibly, like the vast majority do and you just might have a business at the end of next summer. Don't and you you won't... Your choice...

I thought we lived in a democracy?! In a democracy you are allowed to express your thoughts. Demonstrations like this one should be allowed, and I would have thought as a politician-It would have been good moment to actually LISTEN to their tax payers and open up for conversations AND SOLUTIONS! (everyone I saw kept a distance and I did NOT see anyone throwing eggs) I think it’s very scary that we have a government that are threatening with sanctions as soon as somebody doesn’t “obey” them or actually want to discuss different angles and opportunities for solutions.

If tourists are so important for Mallorca they should install ( or should already have installed )a general lockdown for 2 to 3 months they can all prepare a summer season more or less by end of March and get their jobs back . But no , let's all sit around the table with ten people during Christmas , or six people at a bar's table etc How this is managed now, there will not be a season again until most of the population has received a vaccine God knows when this will be as we have already heard that they will be a shortage of medical staff in Spain So stop demonstations and think about your future This being said I am not pro Armengol

user James W | over 3 years ago

Good. And the crowds will only get bigger as more people lose everything for a flu virus. When people have nothing left to lose they fear nothing. Armengol should be worried. She's ruined 10,000 of lives. For 498 pensioners. I'd call that a failure. But it's a pattern we are seeing all over the world. And people still think this just about a corona virus. Wake up!

user Adam | over 3 years ago

This Government was supposed to be the Dream Team Power to the People equality for all , social housing and $$$$$ for everyone well instead your getting disappointment and despair , the politicians all got a raise which was also not supposed to be even permitted but we didn't hear any more about paying that money back , this Corona deal mis not even close to being over so brace yourselves for more of the same a couple of weeks ago Amengol said were at the final turn before the finish , then she put her glasses on and now here we go again . Nightmare Team !!!!

user Mark Badoer | over 3 years ago

Yeah, like she is going to go. She ignored her ignoring her own regulations before, so why would anyone think it will be different now. She will not back down, eventhough she should, as she will never admit to her failing or doing anything wrong.......Hey, I know someone else like that. He lives in a large, white house.
