Exactly. What do I need To Travel to Majorca

user Philip | over 2 years ago

UK Passport validity for entry to Mallorca. SPanish government website says 90 days - UKGOV website says 6 months - BA says 6 months - the IATA website allows 3 months. AM travelling next week with 4 month passport validity and too late to renew - what is the local information on this - will i be allowed in?

Simples. Majorca wants our money providing we stay in the UK.... that means no Indian variant and Armengol’s coffers swell a bit ... also the x-pats will be happy that we are staying in the UK.... NO CHANCE !!! I’d rather swell Rishi’s wallet first

There is a reason governments are making it difficult as in reality they dont really want mass travel as it simply increases covid numbers like it or not. Fact is there is a lot of Covid here, and it can be caught quite easily , see the hundreds of school kids case from two weeks ago. So its madness to go back to the uk and have no health checks for all those that do feel they need to travel , as the results will be that unknowingly many tourists will be bringing back covid to the UK and elsewhere . A proper PCR test coming in and a proper one going out should be the minimum requirement for any one travelling to anywhere .

Is the NHS app accepted as a proof of double vaccinations? Or does Spain still require vaccinated passengers to do a PCR test? This is on the UK gov page but it's all I've found......... If you live in England, Spain will accept the NHS app or your NHS letter to demonstrate your COVID-19 vaccination status. If you live in Scotland or Wales, Spain will accept your respective NHS letter to demonstrate your COVID-19 vaccination status. Your NHS appointment card from vaccination centres is not designed to be used as proof of vaccination and should not be used to demonstrate your vaccine status. For more details see the Spain travel Health page

For three passengers - about 8 hours in total. Total time spent on apps downloading, facial recognition, uploading passport/driving licence photos, nhs covid double jab certificate fretting (it does not even come into force by the time we fly), speaking to the surgery, booking collinson's day two testsx3, looking at bad reviews of collinsons, booking antigen tests in Santa Ponsa with ze Germans, filling out mad spanish health app stuff, etc. 8 hours. I spent less time filling out my mortgage application, getting married, having children....

Thanks Majorca fan & others for your input, I have followed your advice on the Jet2 site, and The Government website., even though I am travelling on EasyJet, It confirms that the NHS app Print off is the COVID double vax pass. I assume that the authorities will then scan the barcode Either from a phone or other device, or from a paper copy that the traveler has with them. OOH, I need a bloody holiday!!

https://www.spth.gob.es/info-pcr Under 12 don't need to provide a negative test. Antigen test are also acceptable as per the attached link to Spanish Travel Health which includes the FCS declaration

Gary The paper trail for vaccine and other docs are on Jet2 travel to majorca. Also U.K.gov Entry requirements to Spain. Looks like the NHS docs are acceptable but pre Travel on Spain’s site 48 hrs before boarding for each passenger needed good luck
