No Country in the modern World is truly Socialist.

It's unclear. Apparently, whatever we don't like at this moment is deemed "socialist" (or at least is the doing of "socialists"). Although I'm suspicious that those same observers wouldn't know the difference between socialism and rheumatism. It's like using the word "wonky". It's just a word that can apply to anything that's "not right", although nobody actually knows what it really means. In this case, limiting the personal "freedom" to spread and contract covid (such as obligatory masks) are apparently "socialist", or at least imposed on an otherwise free people by "socialists". Or otherwise "wonky" in some way.

Only Socialist Countries are top of the Covid list and choose to ignore regulations?

France is also "socialist". Obviously another commie ploy to reinstate socialist lockdown. Better off in sunlit uplands where you can have as much covid as you want. For free. All inclusive. Quantity over quality.

I was told by a friend who is currently visiting Scotland who flew from Spain, to France before arriving in the UK that France was the only airport where mask wearing is not mandatory. Not that you can compare Countries Covid rates due to many reasons, but this is Country is currently, and has been for a while, one of the worst in Europe for increasing numbers of cases and deaths. It really isn't rocket science - just wear the bloody thing and stop crying about doing something so simple. (Whether you are called moronic names by commenters like James or not).

Aside from in the supermarket and shops, I haven't worn a mask in a long time. Tempest in a teapot, me thinks.

Mark the sad fact is the more government you have the more governing you get. The U.K. saw that with the devolved administrations in particular Bonney Scotland. The had stricter controls for longer and guess what, Scots now have the highest Covid rates in the U.K. the Covid virus spread from China to all nations, the wonderful scientists developed numerous vaccines and antiviral treatments. This is as good as it’s going to get. We must just get on with our lives

Very wise decision. Cases have been rising again, so now would literally be the worst moment to get rid of the masks. At the very least keep it in place for two more weeks, or even better, reinstate the outdoor mask mandate to help get the case numbers down again. I get it, no one likes these masks, but unfortunately the pandemic is far from over, and we can't stop caring simply because we're tired of it. Please be considerate everyone.

Was the pandemic a "socialist" thing? What about all this rain and cloud? Is that "socialist" too? The petrol prices? Stinky cheese? Rats and mice? Pigeons? Rocks?

More virtue signalling and political theatre from this socialist government which are due to be ousted next year in the election. Thank God! From what I've noticed the last month, nobody really cares or wears the mask. You still get the odd covid nazi. That have swallowed that much covid propaganda there never come back from there mental state. I think Jaqueline is one of them.
