Palma's animal blessing for Sant Antoni
Pets are the main characters in the streets of Palma today, Wednesday 17 January. Many local residents have taken their animals to be blessed on the occasion of the festivity of Sant Antoni (Saint Anthony). Dogs, cats and parakeets are the most common pets, but there is no shortage of other more exotic or minority animals. Many families with children attend the celebration.
