It was bitter cold in the Serra de Tramuntana last night.

Snow on Puig Major, Mallorca.

At dawn this morning there was a light dusting of snow on Puig Major, the first snowflakes this year.

Snow can be seen in the distance from the Bay of Palma

More snow is forecast over the coming days with the snow line expected to drop to 800 metres along with the over night temperatures.
