The snow line will gfall from 1,400 to 900 metres. Temperatures will drop further in the Serra de Tramuntana. The wind will blow moderately with strong intervals, from the southwest turning towards the northwest at midday.
The weather forecast from the Aemet met. office for Sunday is for cloudy intervals with the possibility of occasional and isolated rain, mainly in the northeast of the island. Night-time temperatures will continue to fall with the possibility of some light frost. Meanwhile, daytime temperatures will remain unchanged or rise slightly. The wind will be light to moderate.
But it could be worse, temperatures in the UK fell to -7C over night, with weather and health warnings now in place.
