So, what about this beast from the east? The cold front may have moved across the continent from the east, but the weather in Mallorca was conditioned on Friday by predominantly southerly breezes and on Saturday will be affected by quite a strong wind from the northwest. Rain and thunderstorms are expected overnight Friday and up to around midday Saturday. The rest of Saturday should be reasonably sunny. Sunday should also see plenty of sunshine, but may still be a bit breezy.

As for any snow, it is possible down to 900 metres. Aemet doesn't anticipate that precipitation in the will be particularly heavy - up to 15 litres per square metre in the mountains and the north of Mallorca. Low overnight/dawn temperatures continuing over the weekend, especially in the mountains and central areas. But nothing out of the ordinary.
