GROSSLY INFLATED EURO PRICES

Having just returned from yet another enjoyable stay on the island I am saddened to see that many of the restaurants have taken advantage of the change to the euro to grossly inflate prices. What a stupid and silly policy as these establishments can now easily be spotted by the absence of customers! Places which used to be full, with reservations only, have now only the odd two or three couples in - and they don't appear to return when examining their bill. The public are not fools, and I would say to these owners “Examine your prices” and stop trying to rip people off with costs which are undue and excessive.
