PALMA
WINTER is going to hit us next week with a sharp and sudden drop in temperatures forecast on Monday.
Spokesperson for the National Meteorological Office, Angela Rivera, warned yesterday that once the remains of the isolated storms and heavy rains have passed away over the next few days, the temperatures are going to plummet across the country from Monday.

She said that they do not expect any major incidents caused by torrential rain over the next few days but what people should be more concerned and aware about is the looming plummet in temperatures.

She explained that a cold front bringing strong north and north westerly winds will make its way across the country from the north west from Monday pulling temperatures down by between two and three degrees centigrade.
