Our 50th anniversary party was a huge success and Bulletin Chairman Pere Serra MBE underlines the fact that it would never have been possible without the support of our readers and advertisers.
Palma.It was an event which made all of us involved with the Bulletin very proud. Now only did we celebrate the paper´s 50th anniversary our Chairman Pere Serra was presented with an honorary MBE by the British ambassador to Spain, Giles Paxman.
More than 400 guests gathered at the Restaurante Oliver de Termes to celebrate this double event.
Guests included Balearic President Jose Ramon Bauza and Lord Jeffrey Archer and his wife Dame Mary.
Our chairman said that this newspaper would not have been possible without the support of its loyal readers and advertisers over the last 50 years.
President Bauza said that it was a unique achievement.
All in all it was a great night and one which we will remember for many years to come.
