Police investigate attacks on two British tourists in Calvia

CALVIA Local Police and the Guardia Civil are investigating two separate attacks on two British holiday makers over the weekend.
The first happened in Cala Vinyas.
The Local Police received a call at 8am reporting that a naked girl was sitting on the pavement in a state of shock. Local Police and paramedics attended the scene where the 18-year-old was found accompanied by a group of fellow British tourists.

Apparently, she had gone out the night before to celebrate Spain's World Cup victory.
According to police sources at some point during the night she got lost and was not seen again until 8am yesterday morning.
Sources close to the investigation suspect that she may have been raped.
She was treated for her injuries at Son Dureta hospital yesterday.
Only a matter of hours later, the police were informed of another attack on a British tourist but this time in Magalluf.
The incident occurred in a block of flats in sa Porrasa where a young woman was apparently assaulted by two African immigrants.
Police sources said that the victim was not sexually assaulted but beaten and it was her cries for help and screams which raised the alarm.
The police mounted an immediate search of the area for the attackers but no arrests had been made at the time of going to press last night.
The British holidaymaker was found dressed only in her underwear and the police said she was extremely distressed and nervous.
