Son Bonet aerodrome in Palma goes back to 1944

You could have been mistaken Son Bonet aerodrome in Palma for a British airfield hours before the D-Day landings. A group of military enthusiasts marked the restoration of a DC3 "Dakota" aircraft by coming dressed in American and British uniforms. The DC3 was the workhorse of the allied airforces in WW2 and one is being lovingly restored at Son Bonet.
