LW GALLERY in Cooperation with HMH Gallery Port Andratx is delighted to invite you to the opening of Judith Sturm's exhibition on Saturday 4 November 2023 from 10am to 3pm.
Entitled 'Thought Bubbles', the exhibition continues this autumn's theme of 'summer extension' by showcasing tranquil scenes, with mostly seaside or poolside settings.
Judith Sturm is a master student and graduate of the German "Dokumenta 6" artist Bodo Baumgarten at the Saarbrücken Art Academy. She has won several art prizes and art scholarships and is represented in public and private collections worldwide.
With her unique painting technique combined with impressive, metaphorical picture worlds and peculiarly surreal beach scenes, the artist Judith Sturm succeeds in achieving a creative unique position.
She is concerned with the infinite variations and also interpretations of positions and emotions of her protagonists. What do they do? What are they thinking? Do they embody longing or boredom - are they carefree or attentive?
