This Sunday, 24 January, is not to be missed if you love your cars, whether they are American, Classic or a modern-day Supercar. As part of the Sant Sebastià celebrations the major car clubs on the island are all attending what is going to be a “Car Fest”. Thanks to the support of Palma town hall some three lanes and over 800 metres of the Paseo Maritimo have been made available for the car show, which will extend into the Avenidas junction and to the stop light right in front of the Cathedral.

What a great location and it will be a superb display with cars from the American Car Club of Mallorca, the Club de Cotxes Classics and Driving Mallorca all having members cars on show. With private owners also invited it will be a fun-day event and one for all the family to see some amazing cars close up.

The free show will start from 9am and not only will the show offer everyone the opportunity of seeing and taking photographs of the cars, it will also provide the backdrop to support a worthwhile charity: the clubs will be contributing non-perishable foodstuffs to the charity “Mallorca Sense Fam”. (See www.mallorcasensefam.org for more details.)

All the car clubs will be supporting this excellent cause but they are asking everyone to contribute, so do come along with not only your camera but something for this good cause. It all helps.
