Balearics December unemployment down 36% year on year

Figures released on Tuesday by the national ministry of employment show that unemployment in the Balearics stood at 35,851 in December 2022.

Compared with December 2021, there were 20,123 fewer people unemployed. The decrease was one of 35.9%, the largest decrease in the country.

Monthly unemployment was down 1.7% - 636 fewer unemployed than in November.

This must be fake news as according to a lot of MDB readers the local government has destroyed the economy.
