An 89th-minute headed goal from full back Joan Sastre rescued a point for Mallorca against their lowly opponents from Formentera. Despite the great gulf between the two sides in the league - Mallorca top and Formentera in the bottom four - it was Formentera who were better on the day.

Mallorca started well enough - Abdon might have scored after just 30 seconds - but Gabri's volleyed shot from outside the area on seven minutes unsettled Mallorca. The ball was constantly given away, and Formentera were unlucky not to have made it two when Ojeda's header went wide.

Gabri netted four minutes into the second half. The offside decision that ruled the goal out was debatable. There wasn't debate after 67 minutes when Juan Antonio's effort was disallowed for offside.

Finally, and from Mallorca's fourteenth corner of the match, Sastre popped up to grab the equaliser.
