2022 is proving to be a gastronomically intense year. And for this reason, from 'Kitchens and Cooks with Passion' it is important to get it right, not only because the gastronomic offer prepared by the chefs participating in the promotion must be innovative and of the highest quality, but also because the conditions of the experience must bring together elements of newness likely to surprise lovers of good food. For this summer there are four menu options to be enjoyed under the light of the stars.

For this Summer 2022 offer, the organisers of the promotion have selected four chefs with more than proven experience to prepare four different menus in which local produce is clearly present, but in each case their personal way of working prevails.

Until 24 September, Daily Bulletin readers will be able to book a table at the four restaurants run by the chefs: Arcadio Pérez, Restaurant ArtWall; Cristian Rivera, Restaurant Sa Casa Mallorcaquina; Javier Jerez, Restaurant Es Parc and Tito Verger of Restaurant Rosa del Mar, who have prepared each of their menus with the idea of enjoying an open-air dinner, with an interesting wine accompaniment and with an all inclusive price of 54 € per tasting, also in keeping with the times in which we live.

The booking procedure is the usual 'Kitchens and Cooks with Passion' procedure. A QR code associated with each of the four tasting menus allows the customer to make a reservation until all available places are taken. And if there is any doubt, before making the reservation, you can resolve it by sending a WhatsApp to 620 965 482.

ARTWALL
The first of the menus has been prepared by chef Arcadio Pérez for us to enjoy on the terrace of the Hotel Artmadams, located at Calle Marquès de la Sènia 34, Palma de Mallorca. When we contacted him to participate in 'Kitchens and Cooks with Passion' he wanted to surprise with a wide and suggestive proposal 'in line with the artistic component that the Hotel has', looking for the contrast of flavours and in synthesis with the colours offered by the ArtWall terrace.

This menu includes five starters to enjoy in summer, including octopus ceviche and Mallorcan cuttlefish, to which are added two main courses of meat and fish that will delight the most demanding customers, to culminate the tasting with an almond puff pastry filled with cream.

SA CASA MALLORQUINA
This is a recently created gastronomic restaurant, located in the historic centre of Algaida, in a restored 19th century house by the current owner Monique Gueriaux. It has several rooms, but without a doubt, the terrace offers a perfect setting to taste the dishes prepared by the chef Cristian Rivera.

Cristian is 27 years old, but he shows in his creations that the knowledge acquired at the Escola de Turisme de las Islas Baleares has been very useful while this young chef was learning his trade in the kitchens of the Hotel Valldemossa, in contact with Ricardo Rossi. Then came the consolidation of what he had learnt with the professional experiences acquired with Mario Sandoval, Javier Olleros, Andreu Genestra and Cristina Arias. The result will undoubtedly be savoured as he presents the nine dishes of his menu, in which a clean and very suggestive presentation prevails, with eminently Mediterranean dishes that go far beyond a well-learned technique.

ES PARC
Summer is a good time to go out, to share, to enjoy the outdoors. And if we add to this the quality of the raw materials used in the kitchen, it seems an almost infallible recipe. This is the proposal offered by Es Parc Restaurant, located in Parc Recreatiu s/n, Selva.

Unusual views of the Pla de Mallorca, unique quality meats and a grill that is the result of years of experience, which in this case chef Javier Jerez elaborates, seeking harmony with the aromas provided by the holm oaks, the olive trees, the almond trees, the oak trees, and the branches of the orange trees that have been left to dry.

Between the appetizers and to whet our appetite, we are presented with a tapa of Galician beef steak tartar, which acts as a preamble to the Australian Angus cube roll that will be served as one of the two main courses. A real treat for the senses.

ROSA DEL MAR
The Dársena de Ca'n Barbara is an unknown place for many that offers a relaxing and easily accessible marine environment in Palma that is worth taking into account. The Rosa del Mar Restaurant is located in this setting, and after its refurbishment a couple of years ago it has a very pleasant interior, an extensive wine cellar and doubles as a restaurant and cocktail bar, making it doubly interesting to visit.

At the helm of the kitchen is chef Tito Verger, for many, one of the stars of the TaPalma awards. He likes to experiment, but above all he likes to surprise his customers with truly unique flavours and presentations. It is undoubtedly the result of the influences received over the last 20 years of experience, and the many trips made to meet very different realities.

For this occasion, Tito Verger has prepared this Menu in which we can detect this desire to please, but also to surprise that prevails in the meats and seafood that characterise his cuisine. Just a sample to give us an idea: 'fried fritter stuffed with beef in oyster sauce, coriander, lime emulsion, chilli and coconut sugar'. An example of how to combine sweet and savoury without detracting from either flavour.
